ZSH zmv

mv/rename mejorado

• si no lo hacemos en el .zshrc, cargar con autoload zmv
• parámetros:
  • -n: test, o hace los cambios
  • C: copy
  • L: ln
  • M: move
  • -w: añade paréntesis en los *
  • -i: interactivo

• renames 'foo.lis' to 'foo.txt', 'my.old.stuff.lis' to 'my.old.stuff.txt':

  zmv '(*).lis' '$1.txt'

• Something simpler (for basic commands) is the -W option

   zmv -W '*.lis' '*.txt'

• If you combine this with noglob, you don't even need to quote the arguments.

  alias mmv='noglob zmv -W'
  mmv *.c.orig orig/*.c
